Manufactured and evolved over 50 years, the Tiger Chain Block offers the perfect balance between operator effort and speed of lift, ensuring maximum mechanical efficiency. The short head room allows for easy installation where space is limited. Using the highest quality steel materials, the Tiger Chain Block is a lightweight, compact and rugged construction. All major components are heat treated and precisely machined to ensure long term smooth operation. The strong impact resistant gearbox housing has close tolerance fit bearings that fully support the pinion shaft and planet gears, to maintain smooth revolutions under load. These units meet and exceed all the requirements within BS EN 13157:2004, ANSI/ASME B30.21-2005, AS1418.2 and SANS 1594.
